Welcome to the Captives Forum
The Captives Forum is a dedicated not-for-profit Trade Association focused on supporting and advancing the sales finance activities of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) throughout Europe. These activities are facilitated through ‘captive’ funding vehicles, which are financial entities owned by the OEMs themselves to provide tailored financing solutions for their customers.
Our mission is to enhance the effectiveness and reach of these captive funding vehicles by actively engaging with regulators, collaborating with other European business institutions, and maintaining a presence in the media. Through these efforts, we aim to create a favorable environment for captive finance operations, ensuring they can continue to thrive and deliver value to both manufacturers and customers.
One of the key features of our work is the regular interaction among our members. Representatives from member organizations convene quarterly to participate in presentations on topics of shared interest and relevance to the industry. These meetings also serve as a platform for open discussion and debate on current and emerging issues that impact the sector.
